By Road

A-30: the Dual Carriageway of Murcia. It runs between Albacete and Cartagena. It passes by Albacete, Tobarra and Hellín.

The A-31: Autovía de Alicante. It runs between Atalaya del Cañavate and Alicante. It passes by La Roda, Albacete and Almansa.

A-35: Almansa-Játiva Dual carriageway. This runs between both these cities.

The AP-36: Ocaña-La Roda Dual Carriageway. This runs between the two cities.

The A-43: passes by Villarrobledo.

By Train

The province has had railway communications since this means of transport began to function in Spain. The line Madrid-Alicante was the first long distance line to come into service in the country.
